The retro gamer RG351P is a premium no fuss easy to use pick up and play out of the box gaming console. Build quality is the star here, the case, joysticks and buttons feel premium with a gorgeous screen and ample battery life - sales pitch aside you really cant go wrong.
Following the very successful RG350, RG350P, and RG350M, the 1P is the second iteration of this device which remains one of, if not the most sought after portable game consoles on the market.
You're likely reading this as have read and seen a fair few blog and youtube reviews talking up this impressive retro handheld. Pretty amazing for its price.
Electro Arcade is an authorised RG351P seller. All our Anbernic products and accessories are sourced directly from the Anbernic factory ensuring the highest quality and support.
This official Anbernic RG351P ships out of Melbourne with local warranty and quick delivery. While stock varies, it comes in black, purple and white with laminated 3.5” IPS screen for perfect viewing from any angle with a guaranteed crisp and vibrant picture. Included is a screen protector that covers the super toughened glass.
The premium build continues with dual joysticks the same quality you’ll find on the Nintendo Switch and high-quality stereo audio topped with up-to 8hrs battery life.
Pictures don't do this gaming device justice. It looks and feels premium in every way.
The retro gamer Anbernic handheld comes pre-loaded with over 2500 of the best titles and plays games from over 20 consoles that other devices struggle with including Play Station Portable, Play Station, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast to name a few.
Using our optional WiFi dongle you can easily connect to your network and add games, auto scan the internet for game art and unlock many other features.
We also have a protective travel case to keep your console safe at all times.
The 1P uses the EmuELEC and RetroArch software meaning you can tweak and adjust each game and consoles settings manually. You can also expect updates and constant improvements along with a growing and improving list of supported gaming platforms and tweaks.
The Anbernic RG351P comes with a 64GB micro SD card which holds all the game ROMs. With the use of a suitable USB card reader, chosen or all titles can be deleted and titles of your choice can be loaded up into the console-specific folders.
We recommend that you make a soft backup image file of your SD card and store it away. You can then either continue to use the original micro SD card or purchase a larger 128GB or 256GB card like a SanDisk ultra. This will give you more space, flexibility and up to 10 years warranty on the card itself.
While 128GB or 256GB is more than ample for most, some customers have gone all out with 400GB SD cards and tried different operating systems including 351ELEC, ArkOS and Batocera.
Experience the handheld that leads multi-console gaming
Gaming was traditionally crammed onto cartridges, discs or at your local store and viewed through bulky blurry CRT displays of their day. Advancements in videogame emulators and technology means these games and more can now be played anywhere at their best.

I was only interested in playing GBA titles and the screen on this just makes them look so good. Currently running wummles fork of ArkOS and things are running very smoothly. This console is still a great buy in 2022.
electroarcade were also terrific with answering my questions prior to purchase and I'm so glad I was able to support a local business.
I bought this along with the 128 GB Lexar microSD care - ArkOS 1.6. It works phenomenally well out of the box! I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan, and this device allowed me to have versions of Final Fantasy from 1 to 9 work largely flawlessly (note: you'll need to source FF3, FF8 and FF9 separately).
I bought this device primarily for GBA emulation and it does this extremely well. As the screen is an exact 2 x integer multiple of the original GBA screen resolution, it looks perfect. In fact, if GBA emulation is important to you, this device is superior to other potentially more expensive options with 4:3 screens and other resolutions as no form of non-integer scaling will ever look as good. I would note that the default setting of using the mGBA core for emulating GBA games does result in occasional stuttering in some GBA games (e.g., FF Tactics Advance, and FF4 Advance). I found that changing the default to the gpSP core for GBA emulation gave perfect results. This can be done on a per game basis if you prefer mGBA normally.
I've found that PSX games (e.g., FF7/8/9) have worked perfectly with the default setting.
For GB and GBC, I personally preferred integer scaling (which gives 2 x on the RG351p) and accept the slight letter boxing, but with perfectly crisp pixels. Otherwise RGA scaling gives acceptable results if you prefer it taking the full height of the screen. My recollection is that this might require changing the default setting for GB and GBC in Retroarch.
Interestingly, I've found that some PSP games run well on the device. The 3:2 screen works very well with the 16:9 content. Crisis Core: FF7 runs close to perfect, while Dissidia FF, and Dissidia 012 FF both are a little glitchy, but entirely playable (i.e., at or near full speed without needing to use frameskip or reducing the framerate). You can't run these through the Retroarch core, but the (included) standalone PPSSPP emulator, and you may need to make some specific settings changes. Unfortunately, the excellent PSP version of FF Tactics doesn't run acceptably (in my view) on the device with intermittent stuttering.
Really wonderful little device. Great service and communication by electro arcade too :)
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been playing around with it since and I am loving it. It's so convenient playing all these games portable and where ever I want
To keep it extremely short, the controls feel amazing and the screen is perfect for GBA. Performance has had no issues, it's real good.
