Know your way around the Trimui Smart Pro
The below instructions have been tested using the Crossmix custom Operating System which enhances your Trimui Smart Pro experience.
Power on & off – Locate at the top left – hold the power button down for 3 seconds. Doing this when the console is on will bring up the Power off menu. Hover over Yes and click A.
For exit games, hold the Menu button located on the bottom left, hover over Exut Game from the menu, and press A.
Force exit game/application – If a game or application freezes, or locks up, press and hold the Menu+Power buttons together for 3 seconds.
Charge/ DC USB type C port is located at the base of the unit and the Trimui logo lights up red when being charged. We recommend a 5V 1A-3A charger similar to what is used on smartphones. Please don’t use a dynamic voltage fast charger.
Save/Load game progress – holding the menu button will bring up the menu – hover over the load or save option and press A.
RetroArch – to access advanced game settings, when in your chosen game press the menu button, then hover over Advanced Menu and press A. You can remap buttons via >Controls > Port 1 Controls.
Press B to back out.
Any controller changes need to be saved by going into >Manage Remap Settings > Save Game Remap File for a specific game or > Save Core Remap File for all games under the console you are in. To exit RetroArch click on B to go all the way back followed by Quit or Restart.
Main Navigation
Up arrow or B takes you to the top menu. From here you can scroll left to right from Favorites, Recents, Best, Emulators, Apps, Netplay, and Settings.
Best shows custom collections of categorised games included, while Emulators categories games by console such as Atari, Amiga, Dreamcast, and so on.
Search – Press Menu, hover over Search and press A, type in the game name, use the joystick to move over to the right, hover over the desired game, and press A to play.
Gameplay
Buttons for each console will vary, some will use the shoulder buttons, so keep this in mind when exploring controls per console and game.
