Every Megabeast ships with a powerful gaming PC – AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS, Radeon 780M integrated graphics, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB NVMe SSD running a custom-tuned Batocera build. The PC alone retails for over $1,000.

While most are running cheap boards and budget mini PCs, the Megabeast ships with a PC that retails for over $1,000 standalone. Pandora boards and Raspberry Pis max out at light 2D titles. The Ryzen 7 7840HS handles PS3, PS2, GameCube, Wii, and Xbox – over 20,000 titles – without frame drops, without stuttering, without compromise.

The Screen

32″ IPS. Tempered Glass. The Sweet Spot for Every Game.

The Megabeast runs a 32″ IPS display – and the size is deliberate.

Arcade shooter screens ranged from 19″ to 40″ across the golden era. Below 25″ and immersion breaks down. Push past 32″ on an upright and you’re too close to the screen for it to feel right.

Stand at the cabinet and every genre works. Fighters and racing fill the screen perfectly at normal standing distance. Step back two to three metres for the shooter library and the IR sensors stay locked – targets clear, guns responsive, the way it’s supposed to feel.

Protected by tempered glass – the kind that stays clear years down the track, not months.
