“The satisfying click of a cartridge. The glow of a CRT in your bedroom. The thrill of finally beating that one impossible boss. The R36 Ultra puts all of it in your pocket.”
Your childhood favourites.
Ready the moment you are.
If you grew up with Game Boy, SNES, PlayStation and arcade games, the R36 Ultra puts that whole era and more in your pocket. Its square 4″ screen suits classic games: Game Boy titles fill it almost edge to edge, and arcade, 16-bit and PS1 classics play at full width, never stretched.
It arrives ready to play. The 100GB games card with 20,000+ games is already in the console, tested before it ships. No setup, downloads or subscriptions: power it on, pick a game and enjoy.
Up to 6 hours of play per charge, a D-pad plus two analogue sticks, in a size that’s comfortable for adults and kids.
1:1 Aspect Ratio
Built for retro gaming
With a 720×720 4.0″ IPS display, Game Boy and Game Boy Color games fill the square screen almost edge to edge, while arcade, 16-bit and PS1 classics play at full width with slim bars above and below, never stretched. Tempered glass over an IPS panel delivers full viewing angles, scratch resistance, and colour accuracy that holds up in sunlight or a dim lounge room. At 720×720, sprites are sharp. Texture edges are clean. Everything your childhood remembers — but sharper than it actually was.

D-pad, ABXY, two sticks.
And four triggers.
On the left, the D-pad sits above the analogue stick. On the right, the ABXY buttons sit above the second stick. Both sticks light up with RGB rings.
L1/L2 and R1/R2 triggers sit on the shoulders.
