Premium Bartop Arcade Machine
Built to Commercial Standards.
The MiniBeast is a full two-player bartop arcade machine built to arcade standards, not consumer electronics standards. Genuine arcade-grade joysticks, leaf-switch buttons, a patched 10,000-game board, and a 19″ IPS screen under tempered glass. Everything is modular, serviceable, and built to the same specification whichever design you choose.
It arrives ready to play: plug it in, switch it on. Two players out of the box, four with USB gamepads, and at around 26kg it’s light enough to move between rooms but solid enough to earn a permanent spot.

Authentic Aspect Ratio
19″ IPS Screen.
Every game in its proper shape. The 19″ IPS display delivers rich colour and consistent viewing angles at 60Hz, with a correct picture ratio, the shape virtually every arcade and retro console title in the library was designed for. Games fill the screen correctly. No stretching.
The panel is protected by tempered glass, not acrylic. Acrylic scratches, hazes, and degrades over time. Tempered glass doesn’t.

Arcade-Grade Controls
& Joysticks.
Full-size leaf-switch buttons throughout: better feel, better response, and individually replaceable. One switch fails, replace the switch, nothing else.
Arcade-grade joysticks compatible with the full Sanwa ecosystem. Restrictor plates, bat tops, ball tops and shaft extensions all interchange without modification. The control panel curves outward, so your hands rest on it instead of hanging off the front edge.
Upgraded Alpha+ Retro Game Board
(Patched & Tested).
As a guide, the MiniBeast Bartop is capable of playing the consoles and games listed below. Which consoles and games are included can vary over time.
Every MiniBeast ships with the Alpha+ board (Alpha 3D Max+, Rockchip RK3566), patched in-house. Factory boards ship as-is; ours are not. Games run smoother, load faster, and more titles support save states. The library covers 10,000 titles across arcade classics and console platforms including PS1, N64, Dreamcast, PSP and Sega Genesis.

MiniBeast Bartop
Frequently Asked Questions.
Does the MiniBeast bartop play the same games as a medium to full size upright?
Yes and sometimes even better! Up-to a 3k price point, arcade machines usually run a fixed gameboard with varied performance and 60 to 10,000 games. The hardware inside determines what you can play, not the cabinet size. Whether you are running a MiniBeast on a desk or a full-size upright, you are working with similar internals and similar experience.
How difficult is the MiniBeast to set up?
It arrives ready to play. Plug it in, switch it on. If you are adding the stand, it bolts together without any specialist tools or technical knowledge.
Do you ship across Australia?
Yes. Electro Arcade ships nationally. Enter your complete address during checkout to receive an accurate quote.
Do you offer Click and Collect?
Yes, reach out to us and we’ll work with you for collection from our Clayton, Vic warehouse. Feel free to place your order and should you chose to collect we’ll refund the shipping component.
What can the MiniBeast Bartop play?
As a guide, the MiniBeast Bartop is capable of playing consoles up to PSP. Which consoles and games are included can vary with each setup and games card.
What's in the box?
Every MiniBeast Bartop comes with: MiniBeast Bartop, Power Cable and Spare Button Pack.
Can I really move it by myself?
At 26kg, most people can manage short distances solo. For stairs or longer moves, two people makes it straightforward. It fits in the back of a standard SUV or hatchback without disassembly.
Is the bartop stable on the stand during heavy gameplay?
Yes. The anchor bolts and raised side rails lock the bartop and stand into a single rigid structure. It does not rock or shift during play. Of course please use with caution and ensure its placed in a safe and stable location.
What is the difference between the LED marquee and the acrylic topper?
The 3D LED marquee and underbody cycling LED strips are included as standard on every MiniBeast. The 3D printed acrylic topper is an optional add-on that sits above the marquee and significantly amplifies the visual presence of the machine – worth considering if the setup is going into a prominent spot in your home.
How does the MiniBeast compare in size to a budget arcade machine like Arcade1UP?
The MiniBeast is noticeably larger and heavier and uses thicker panels than an Arcade1UP: 26kg versus 17kg, and a bigger footprint overall. The more significant difference is what is inside: 10,000 games versus a max of 10, and an IPS screen with tempered glass versus a 17″ LCD with thin acrylic cover. They occupy different categories entirely.
What screen does the MiniBeast Bartop have?
The MiniBeast Bartop has a 19″ screen: IPS, tempered glass, 5:4 1280×1024 60Hz panel, 720p output, correct arcade picture ratio.
What controls does it have?
It has Sanwa-compatible quality arcade joysticks and 6 leaf-switch buttons + coin and start/pause per player. 2 players are built in, and it expands to 4 with USB gamepads.
What chipset does it use?
It runs on the Rockchip RK3566 (Pandora Alpha 3D Max+) (Quad-core Cortex-A55 up to 2.0GHz), with Mali-G52 graphics.
What operating system does it run?
The MiniBeast Bartop runs Linux with RetroArch.
How big and heavy is it?
It measures 56 x 49 x 65 cm and weighs 26kg.
How much storage does it have?
Storage: 128GB MicroSD. RAM: 1GB DDR4.
What does the 4-player setup actually involve?
Plug USB gamepads into the rear ports. By default these will be P3 & P4. That is the entire process. No configuration, no additional hardware purchase beyond the controllers.
What if I want to upgrade my machine down the track?
The MiniBeast is built for exactly that. Sanwa-compatible joysticks and leaf-style buttons are modular and widely available, and the USB ports support gamepad expansion. You are not locked into the configuration you start with.
Can I use headphones?
Yes, by turning off the amplifier and connecting your wired headphones to the gameboard jack at the rear of the machine.
Can I connect it to my TV?
Yes. The gameboard has HDMI out, located on the back door. To play on a bigger screen, just feed an HDMI cable through to your TV or monitor.
