Finally, a Quality controller that’s compatible with Pandora boxes and a variety of other consoles but doesn’t cost the earth.

Available in sleek black or white, these Xbox-style controllers are wired via USB, ensuring no lag or connectivity issues. They offer a truly enjoyable gaming experience bringing a different dynamic and at times surpassing the gaming experience of fightsticks.

Unlike other controllers we’ve tested, including those with D-pads, joysticks, and buttons, these controllers boast a satisfying feel and seamless play without any cheap sensation.

Another advantage is the full compatibility of both the left D-pad and joystick, eliminating the frustration of being restricted to one input method over another, ofcourse this is dependent on the console and setup you’re using.

Wondering which game controllers or gamepads are compatible with Pandora’s Box retro arcade consoles?

Compatibility between Pandora’s Box consoles and gamepads varies due to the diverse range of hardware and gamepad variants on the market.

We’ve had mixed success with PS2, PS3, and Xbox wired controllers across different models of Pandora’s Boxes.

If you have an old Xbox or PlayStation controller lying around, it’s worth testing its compatibility. Without a USB hub, you are usually restricted to one external gamepad.

Results may range from perfect compatibility to partial functionality or even no response —it’s all luck of the draw.

These are sold as single units.

We’ve successfully tested these game controllers and our USB hubs on the following Pandora’s arcade boxes with their respective CPUs:

• Pandora’s box 11s (A7)
• Pandora’s box 12s Saga (H3)
• Pandora’s box 18s Saga(A9)
• Pandora’s box EX2 & EX3 (A9)
• Pandora’s box PB 9
• Austar GB2000 Game on Friends
• Austar GB3000 3D+

These will definitely bring a different element of game play to your console experience along with ability to go P3-P4

*Please bear in mind that while we strive for compatibility, we cannot guarantee it due to the wide range of Pandora Boxes available on the market. There’s always a possibility that your specific model or variation may not be compatible with these or other gamepads. In such instances, you’re welcome to return them to us at your expense, and we’ll refund the price of the gamepad(s).

You can configure them within your settings menu to function as Player 1 and Player 2 or Player 3 and Player 4. Keep in mind, though, that this capability depends on your Pandora’s Box model and the specific games or versions you intend to use with the gamepads. Some of our Pandora boxes will only allow P3-P4 for USB controllers.

While most Pandora’s Boxes come with 2 USB ports, typically only 1 is allocated for external controllers. If you plan to use 2 external gamepads, you’ll need a compatible 2-port hub, which conveniently comes with our pack that includes a compatible 3-port USB hub for future versatility, whether you need to connect a mouse, keyboard, or other peripherals.

Although we haven’t conducted specific tests on other devices, our USB gamepads and 2.0 hub are compatible with other USB 2.0 compliant computers and consoles.
