The MiniBeast Stock is a full two-player bartop arcade machine built to arcade standards — not consumer electronics standards. Genuine arcade-grade joysticks, leaf-switch buttons, a patched 10,000-game board, and a 19.5″ IPS screen under tempered glass. Everything is modular, serviceable, and built to the same specification regardless of the theme you choose.

Every MiniBeast ships standard with the Alpha+ gameboard — the best Pandora’s Box board available, patched in-house. Customers can optionally choose the Saga EX3 instead. Both are top-tier boards. Both are patched. Factory boards ship as-is. Ours aren’t.
Games run smoother, load faster, and more titles support save states. The library covers 10,000 titles across arcade classics and console platforms including PS1, N64, Dreamcast, PSP, and Sega Genesis.
The board handles demanding titles without compromise — Ridge Racer 2, Mario Kart 64, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Metal Slug, Initial D.

The IPS display delivers rich colour and consistent viewing angles at 60Hz with a 4:3 aspect ratio — the native ratio for virtually every arcade and retro console title in the library.
Games fill the screen correctly. No stretching. No letterboxing. No compromises on how the image was designed to look.
The panel is protected by tempered glass, not acrylic. Acrylic scratches, hazes, and degrades over time. Tempered glass doesn’t.

Does the MiniBeast bartop play the same games as a medium to full size upright?
Yes and sometimes even better! Up-to a 3k price point, arcade machines usually run a fixed gameboard with varied performance and 60 to 10,000 games. The hardware inside determines what you can play, not the cabinet size. Whether you are running a MiniBeast on a desk or a full-size upright, you are working with similar internals and similar experience.
How difficult is the MiniBeast to set up?
It arrives ready to play. Plug it in, switch it on. If you are adding the stand, it bolts together without any specialist tools or technical knowledge.
Can I really move it by myself?
At 26kg, most people can manage short distances solo. For stairs or longer moves, two people makes it straightforward. It fits in the back of a standard SUV or hatchback without disassembly.
What does the 4-player setup actually involve?
Plug USB gamepads into the rear ports. By default these will be P3 & P4. That is the entire process. No configuration, no additional hardware purchase beyond the controllers.
Is the bartop stable on the stand during heavy gameplay?
Yes. The anchor bolts and raised side rails lock the bartop and stand into a single rigid structure. It does not rock or shift during play. Of course please use with caution and ensure its placed in a safe and stable location.
What is the difference between the LED marquee and the acrylic topper?
The 3D LED marquee and underbody cycling LED strips are included as standard on every MiniBeast. The 3D printed acrylic topper is an optional add-on that sits above the marquee and significantly amplifies the visual presence of the machine - worth considering if the setup is going into a prominent spot in your home.
What if I want to upgrade my machine down the track?
The MiniBeast is built for exactly that. Sanwa-compatible joysticks and leaf-style buttons are modular and widely available. The USB ports support gamepad expansion. PC and light gun upgrades are plug-and-play. You are not locked into the configuration you start with.

How does the MiniBeast compare in size to a budget arcade machine like Arcade1UP?
The MiniBeast is noticeably larger and heavier than an Arcade1UP — 26kg versus 17kg, and a bigger footprint overall. The more significant difference is what is inside: 10,000 games versus a max of 10, and an IPS screen with tempered glass versus a 17" LCD with thin acrylic cover. They occupy different categories entirely.

I received the electroarcade minibeast and cabinet as a birthday present from my wife. It is solid, well built and really reminds me of the arcades i remember as a teenager. The joystick and buttons are quality. The games menu is well designed and all games work as expected. The LED lights are a nice touch and the working coin slot is a great touch. The twin usb slots for two extra controllers are useful (4 players) or for the light guns. The kids (11,13 & 14) really enjoy the arcade experience the minibeast delivers - it’s a great addition to the garage. I love the arcade machine as it reminds me of simpler times and good fun.

Fantastic service
Having looked around at MANY different arcade cabinets for years, I finally found one that fits the bill. The Minibeast Bartop is a very well made unit that oozes quality from the arcade joysticks and buttons to the massive, beautiful display and the wonderful livery. Having used MAME and the like for longer than I can remember, I can tell you it’s a completely different experience running it on real, arcade hardware. Service and support have been excellent too, with Paul quick to respond to my queries, and shipping was amazingly fast. Am still working my way through adding extra games to it, with mixed success, but the ability to do so is excellent. Cranking up some 70s/80s tunes and turning this on leads to a wonderful trip down memory lane. The feel, the sights and the sounds of a misspent youth will all come flooding back. You can even chuck down some 20c pieces to add to the realism. So if you’re looking around for an arcade cabinet for your den, rumpus room, love dungeon, doomsday shelter or man cave, you can’t go wrong with the Minibeast Bartop. Highly recommended!
I've been looking for an arcade machine for some time now. I decided to buy from ElectroArcade because their knowledge and passion was clearly on display throughout their website. I was not disappointed, the service from Paul was exceptional and the machine is mint! A couple of things I'd like to mention since I've had it. Firstly, the follow up service from Paul was great, I had a small issue with the screen misaligned which Paul talked me through fixing (literally, just press a button in the back of the screen). Secondly, 10,000 games on a Pandora's Box in an arcade machine is too much, finding games, even with the search function, is cumbersome and all the handheld games aren't really suited for purpose. To overcome this, I stumbled across a team called Pandory. They have created software ($15usd) with tutorials to help you easily back up software and add games via USB. I now have 330 arcade games from the 90's (inc. NBA Jam TE) and I can't get the kids off of it!

Really loving my MiniBeast Bartop arcade and stand. It looks amazing, plays great, is super easy to use and comes with pretty much all the games you could ask for. If you read this, chances are you've been doing a fair bit of research and by now you are feeling somewhat overwhelmed by all the various options out there, along with a lot somewhat limited information and a lot of opinions. All you want to do is play some games already. So let me help you out by saying this is a solid arcade machine and works as intented - go ahead and get it, you won't be disapponted. I also wanted to give a quick shout-out to the team at Electro Arcade - customer service has been exceptional. They've been excellent to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond from my start to end. Thanks guys! Lastly also worth mentioning shipping - in short - excellent. It was very well packaged and a lot of care has been taken to ensure it gets to you safely. Delivery was super quick too and it reached me within 3 days - that's pretty decent considering I'm in WA. Shop with confidence. Excellent all round - very happy
Take a step back to the future, the 80s, Hours and hours of games to relive the 80s nostalgia. Great library of games to choose from 80s to the 2000s. Great unit build quality, same goes for the stand. Hours upon hours of fun ahead! Awesome unit highly recommend for those wanting to revive those awesome times at the arcades.

This really feels like a premium product. Along with the matching base, this is so well made. Sturdy, professional, and looks sexy too. Buttons feel great. Independent amp / speakers. Easy to service. Very professionally packed too. No worries with delivery at all. Every minor issue I have, comes directly from the limitations of the Pandora's box itself. Nothing to do with the amazing shell the electroarcade team has built. If you like the pandoras box machines, then youd be crazy to look any further. Every alternative I've come across feels insanely cheap in comparison You can tell there is a lot of love put into these machines. Highly recommend.
